(You’re totally mystified about location of the first image, aren’t you? Though he’s drawn Millet’s Gleaners, Goya’s Third of May 1808, Botticelli’s Birth of Venus, the photo was taken at the Palais des Beaux Arts in Lille, France. Not knowing would have kept me up at night too.)
